Product Details
“Valoi” is a Finnish word meaning light and creation — a nod to the creativity of analog photography. The Scandinavian roots of VALOI are visible in the minimalist and functional design.
The VALOI easy35 V2 Duster helps to remove dust from your film by passing it through a double anti-static brush before it enters the holder. Less dust on your negatives means less work removing it in post-processing software. It attaches magnetically to the side of the VALOI easy35 V2 body. The two brushes are then sitting in front of the holder opening where you push film in. This product works only with film strips or rolls—not with 35mm slides.
Using the easy35 V2 Duster does not guarantee 100% dust-free scans. While very effective, it can't do much in cases dust is embedded into the film's emulsion, which can happen when wet film is left to dry in a dusty environment.
Compatibility
The easy35 V2 Duster works with the easy35 V2 system. It is not backwards compatible with the original easy35 (V1) system. It is also not compatible with the VALOI 360 or easy120 systems.
